Dealers are not supposed to do this. But lets face it, they do it all the time.



Yes, its worth $250 if he is selling you the car at his cost. It will be much cheaper than buying at retail. Just remember that the dealer and the auction have NO connection to the car after you bid. Y ou own it, warts and all. So make sure you are getting something you like and that is dependable

I'm not sure if auctions work differently where you live, but at all the auction houses near where I live you just go there by yourself and bid on cars, you don't need a pay a dealer hundreds to go with you. Really, that would be violating all action rules and that dealer would be banned from attending that auction. Dealer auctions are for dealers only.
